Ambush Airsoft (AAUK) LTD Event Participation Agreement
I, the participant, agree to engage in the scheduled Airsoft event while strictly adhering to all established rules and limitations set by Ambush Airsoft LTD. I recognise that Ambush Airsoft LTD has undertaken all reasonable efforts to identify and communicate potential hazards associated with this activity.
These hazards include, but are not limited to, slips, trips and falls; dead branches; sharp objects; exposed edges; holes; and the naturally rough terrain of the playing field. Stinging nettles and brambles may cause scratches, allergic reactions or other skin irritation. Mosquitoes, hornets and other insects may pose risks of bites or stings that could lead to discomfort or allergic reactions.
I fully understand and accept the risks involved in participating in Airsoft events, including the possibility that BBs fired from guns may cause bruises, skin punctures or dental injuries. I acknowledge these as acceptable risks inherent to the activity.
I agree to wear eye protection at all times during the event, except in designated safe zones. Eye protection must comply with British Standard EN166 or carry a CE mark, with a full-face mask recommended for additional protection. I also agree to wear appropriate clothing covering both arms and legs throughout the event to minimise exposure to potential harm. This is mandatory for participants under 18 and strongly recommended for participants aged 18 or over.
Photography and video
I understand that photographs and video may be taken during the event. By accepting this agreement, I agree that Ambush Airsoft LTD may use and share photographs or video footage in which I appear, including on its website, social-media channels and promotional material. For a participant under 18, this agreement is given by their parent or guardian. Any safeguarding or privacy concern should be raised with Ambush Airsoft before the event.
Authority of event marshals
I acknowledge and accept that the directions, instructions and rules given by event marshals are final. Marshals are appointed to ensure the safety, order and integrity of the event and to maintain a controlled and fair gaming environment.
Adherence to rules
I agree to comply fully with all rules set by Ambush Airsoft LTD and instructions provided by event marshals. I understand that these rules are designed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants and to uphold event standards. They include, but are not limited to, safety guidelines, gameplay regulations and the general conduct expected on the event premises.
Zero tolerance for violence
I understand and agree that violence in any form towards staff, marshals or other participants will not be tolerated under any circumstances. This includes physical violence, threats, aggressive behaviour or actions that could be perceived as violent.
Responsibility to maintain decorum
I commit to maintaining a high standard of behaviour and conduct throughout the event. I acknowledge that Airsoft requires not only physical skill but also respect for fellow players and officials. I will conduct myself in a manner that upholds sportsmanship and respect.
Consequences of violent behaviour and non-compliance
I understand that violent behaviour or failure to comply with established rules and marshal directions will not be tolerated. If I engage in violent actions or exhibit non-compliance, I will be subject to immediate removal from the event site to protect everyone present.
Such actions may lead to further sanctions, including being banned from future events organised by Ambush Airsoft LTD. Depending on the severity of the incident, legal action may be pursued. Non-compliance that disrupts the event or poses safety risks will result in dismissal without a refund. These measures ensure a safe, respectful and enjoyable environment for participants and staff.
Declaration of health conditions
I acknowledge the importance of disclosing any pre-existing health condition that may pose a risk to my safety. Ambush Airsoft LTD must be informed of any potentially life-threatening health condition before participation so it can prepare accordingly and provide necessary assistance.
Requirement to carry medication
I am solely responsible for managing my personal health needs, including carrying necessary medication at all times. I understand that immediate access to medication is crucial and that failure to have it available may pose a serious health risk under the physical and environmental conditions of an Airsoft event.
Consent to participate
I affirm that my participation is voluntary and that I have had the opportunity to ask questions about the event rules, the nature of the activity and the potential risks. By accepting this agreement, I consent to participate under these conditions and agree to comply fully with the guidelines and safety measures prescribed by Ambush Airsoft LTD.
This agreement records my informed decision to participate in the Airsoft event and my acknowledgement of all risks and responsibilities involved.
